One thing, one person, one day. The rest is optional.
Saved as a draft. Nothing is added to the list until the form below goes through.
One field needs another look. The day you gave has already passed.
To-dos with a day, from every list you can see.
Four to-dos on Office move have no day yet. Give one of them Friday, or enjoy it.

Short answers, written by the people who make chronoskin.
A list is a heading with to-dos under it. A to-do is one line that somebody can tick. That is the whole idea, and the rest of chronoskin is there to keep those lines short, owned and dated.
Start with a verb and name one thing. If it needs the word "and", it is two to-dos. Give it to one person; a to-do for everyone is a to-do for nobody.
The box on the Today page files into your Inbox. Begin the line with a list name and a colon, as in Office move: ring the movers, and it goes straight to that list. Add !fri at the end to give it Friday.
