The year, counted for you

Open the new Year page and the book has already done the sums.

Every sighting you have written down now feeds a list for the year: how many kinds, the first date and the last. Nothing needs setting up. The questions page says what is counted and what is left out.

Also in this version

  • Forty birds of the north coast, with their winter names
  • A larger count key for cold fingers
  • The weather line now notes wind as well as rain

For the careful

The book you send yourself is one plain file named sightings.csv, a line to a bird, readable by any table program.

Press and questions

Kind words, the press kit, and the things people ask before they buy.

  • A notebook that keeps up with a warbler. We have not opened the paper one since.

    Harbour Gazette
  • Two taps, and the wren is in the book. Nothing on the phone is quicker.

    Pocket Tools Monthly
  • It worked on the headland with no signal and cold hands. That is the whole review.
