Rovers leave it late

A goal down with ten minutes to play, Harbour Rovers scored twice to beat Northgate and go three points clear.

First half

Northgate had the better of a scrappy opening and led from the 31st minute, when a corner was half cleared and driven back through a crowd of players. Rovers did not manage a shot on target before the interval.

Second half

The change came with two substitutions on the hour. Whitlow levelled from close range in the 81st minute and headed the winner from a free kick four minutes later.

  • 85 min: Whitlow, Rovers (2-1)
