How scenes work
A scene is a list of settings that are applied together, in order.
Each step names one device and one value, such as blinds: closed. A scene can hold up to twelve steps and runs from a key, a schedule or a sensor.
When a step fails
The scene carries on with the next step and reports the device that did not answer.
What is tried again
- Lamps and plugs, twice within a minute.
- Blinds, once after thirty seconds.
- Locks are never tried again without you.
Running a scene from a schedule
A schedule can start a scene in place of a single device. Open Schedules, choose a time and pick the scene as its device.
