Before you pair

Most plugs, lamps and sensors join in under a minute. A few things make it go wrong.

Hold the button on the device until its light blinks, then enter the code printed as CS-000000 on the back. The hub listens for five minutes; after that, start again.

  • Move the device closer to the hub
  • Take the battery tab out, if it has one
  • Switch other new devices off for the moment
