Your first feed

A feed is a named stream of issues. Readers follow the feed, not the single issue.

Naming and address

Every feed gets a short address made from its name. Change it later with feed.rename; old addresses keep working for ninety days. The webhook reference lists the events a feed can send.

  • Names are up to forty characters.
  • One feed can have several editors.
  • Drafts are private until an issue is scheduled.

From the command line

Create the feed, then push a first draft.

chronoskin feed new "Night desk"
chronoskin push draft.md --feed night-desk
Heads up Scheduled issues go out in the reader's time zone, not yours.
Push rejected The draft has no title. Add one and push again.
