How to find the Railway Arms

Out of the station, turn left, and it is the pub with the green door. The room is up the stairs at the back. There is nowhere to park, so share a lift or take the N7The night bus. The last one leaves the station at ten to one..

Saving for a real studio

Door money put by so far 70%

Every ticket goes towards one day in a studio with a proper desk.

The band

Who plays what, and how it all began.

Started in a shed, still in a shed

The short story, for people who have never heard us.

chronoskin began in the spring of 1997 when two of us were given guitars and nobody was given lessons. We play fast, short songs about buses, weather and Sunday jobs, and we have never played a song longer than three minutes.

Who plays what

There are four of us. The page you are reading is typed by the drummer, by hand, and saved as band.html on a free host. On stage you will see:

  • one voice and one guitar, both a little out of tune;
  • a second guitar that does the difficult parts;
  • a bass, since September, and drums.

Come and say hello

We stay behind after every gig to carry the amplifiers, so that is the time to find us. Or put your name on the mailing list and we will write to you first.
