Tiling a background
Ten minutes, one small picture, and your page has wallpaper.
A background is a small picture that the browser repeats across and down the window. You name it in the body tag and the browser does the rest.
What you need
- a tile from our shelves, saved as
bricks.gif; - your page, open in a text editor;
- somewhere to upload both files.
The one line to type
<body background="bricks.gif"
bgcolor="#000066" text="#ffffff">
Always give a bgcolor near the colour of the tile, so your words can be read while the picture loads.
Check your link colours
A link not yet followed, a visited one, one under the pointer, one being clicked, a bold link and a small link.
