The shield of the gate
The best shield a warden can carry before the last warband fight, and the first thing most of them ask for.
It drops from the Gate Warden about once in six kills. To show it to your warband, hold shift and click the name, or type /link Gatekeeper's Bulwark in chat.
Who should take it
- Wardens who stand at the front, before anyone else.
- Menders, if no warden present can use it.
What it replaces
Anything under item level 66. Keep the Ashplate set shield for fights with fire.
Where does it drop?
The Gate Warden, last foe of the Ember Gate, for warbands of twelve. Chance: 16 in 100.
Can it be traded?
It binds to the character who picks it up.
Who wears it?
Mostly wardens over level 58.
